Crowne Plaza Leeds has been through a lot in the past year, from floods and reopening to winning awards. Yet here we are, ready to get going on the best project of all – the full refurbishment.We’ve taken all of your reviews into consideration and we’ve listened. Because you – our guest, is what matters most. You’re our main priority and the main reason we’re going through such big changes is to improve not just your overall experience, but to make each experience you have with us a personal one, a unique one.
Please be aware aspects of your stay may be affected. We are aiming to keep these as minimal as possible, but if you have any concerns before or during your stay please don’t hesitate to get into contact with our team.

The full refurb is set to begin on the 30th January 2017, running 7 days a week. Monday to Friday authorised noise times are from 8.30am – 7pm, and on weekends 10am – 6pm. Please be aware there may be contractors around the hotel outside of these times, but noise will not be permitted.

All you need to know about our refurbishment
What’s going on?
Undertaking a full refurbishment of the hotel including:
- Brand new bedrooms and suites
- Creation of club lounge
- Brand new restaurant and bar
- Refurbished Meeting and Events facilities including breakout area
- New reception concept and lobby area
- Refurbished grand staircase and mezzanine
- Brand new function bar
How long will this be going on?
From the 30th January through to the end of May 2017
How noisy is it going to be?
We are upmost to keep noise level to a minimum, however, noise authorisation times will be Monday – Friday: 8.30am – 7pm and Saturday, Sunday: 10am – 6pm.
What time will the building works begin?
Building works will begin from the 30th January 2017 and end at the end of May 2017*.
Will the restaurant still be open?
Yes, there will be food and beverage outlets on site in a limited capacity. If you have any queries regarding dinner reservations please email Marina.Haigh@CPLeeds.com .
Will spirit still be open?
Yes – our spirit health club and spa is open as usual and will have a minimal impact by the refurbishment. If you have any queries about spa bookings or opening times please email Spirit@CPLeeds.com.

Corporate rates will be subject to the usual terms and conditions stipulated in the contract in terms of availability
What are the restaurant opening times?
The restaurant is open from 6.30pm till 10pm Monday to Sunday.
What are the bar opening times?
The bar is open Monday - Sunday 8am – 11pm for all guests and visitors. The bar is open 24/7 for residents (room charge only from 11pm till 8am).

Will there be a lot of dirt around?
All precautions will be taken to ensure high levels of cleanliness throughout the refurbishment periods.
Will there be a club lounge?
Yes – a brand new club lounge will be created by the end of the refurbishment.
Can I use the club lounge?
Club lounge access will depend upon the level of room purchased.
Are meetings still going ahead?
Yes – all meetings are still going ahead. If you have any queries on your meeting specifically please contact your events representative at our hotel or email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 0113 261 6848.
Are weddings still going ahead?
Yes – all weddings taking place here during the refurbishment have been contacted by our events team already. If you have any further queries please contact your wedding representative at our hotel or email email@example.com or call 0113 261 6806.
Will there be builders all over the place?
There will be contractors on site throughout the entire refurbishment but please be assured they are following strict guidelines and noise isn’t authorised outside of the times below:
Mon – Fri 8.30am till 7pm
Sat – Sun 10am till 6pm
The builders will generally be in the areas of construction and are not permitted to roam in areas where construction isn’t taking place. If you have any further concerns please email Marina.Haigh@cpleeds.com and quote ‘Refurb’ in the subject line.
Will opening times be affected?
No – all opening times for all outlets are as normal
Where will breakfast be served?
Breakfast during the first stage of our refurbishment will be served in our private dining room from 6.30am till 10am Monday to Friday then 7.30am – 11.30am Saturday and Sunday.
Can I have a specific room?
Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee room types during the refurb due to different sections being refurbished at different stages.
I usually get an upgrade, why hasn’t this happened?
Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee an upgrade due to bedrooms being refurbished at different stages.
I am travelling with lots of children, is it safe to stay?
Yes, we have taken every precaution to make sure all guests are safe during their stay with us.
